CUBBES - TERMS OF USE

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Cubbes ("we," "our," or "us"). Cubbes is an educational technology platform designed to help students manage their academic life, access educational resources, and improve their learning experience.

By accessing or using the Cubbes mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our App.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App. Please have them read these Terms with you.

3. ACCOUNT CREATION AND SECURITY

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Educational Institution Information

You may be required to provide information about your educational institution, including university, faculty, department, level, and semester details. You agree that this information is accurate and current.

4. SERVICES AND FEATURES

4.1 Basic Features
  • Course management and timetable organization
  • Assignment tracking and note-taking
  • CGPA calculation and tracking
  • Access to course past questions
  • Task and reminder creation
4.2 Premium Features (Cubbes Pro)
  • Offline access to course materials and past questions
  • AI-powered features for summarizing and interacting with materials
  • Reading progress tracking for course materials
  • Semester GPA prediction
  • Access to answers for past questions
  • Countdown timers for important events

5. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly options for Cubbes Pro. Free users have access to basic features only.

5.2 Payment and Billing
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase
5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. You’ll receive advance notice of any fee changes via the App or email.

5.4 Refunds

We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods or unused Cubbes Pro features. Refunds should be requested via Apple directly.

5.5 Free Trials

We do not offer free trials for Pro subscriptions. However, a free plan is available, allowing users to explore core features.

6. USER CONTENT

6.1 Your Content

You retain rights to content you create or upload. By submitting it, you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the App.

6.2 Prohibited Content
  • Violates any applicable law
  • Infringes on intellectual property
  • Contains viruses or malicious code
  • Is abusive, threatening, or defamatory
  • Impersonates others
  • Includes plagiarized or dishonest content

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Our Content

The App’s content and features are protected under intellectual property laws and owned by Cubbes.

7.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

8. PRIVACY

Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and handle your personal information.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Cubbes is not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from the App.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Cubbes is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify Cubbes against any claims resulting from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in advance.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence.

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Disputes will be resolved first through informal negotiation, then in accordance with local dispute resolution mechanisms.

17. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS

  • These Terms are between you and Cubbes only
  • Apple is not responsible for the App’s content or support
  • Use of the App must follow Apple’s App Store Terms
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms represent the full agreement between you and Cubbes.
